
1. Proper fitness attire must
be worn at all times. This includes: tee-shirts or tank tops
(no 1/2 shirts), workout shorts, sweats, or tights, gym-type
shoes or walking shoes (absolutely NO sandals, flip-flops or
street shoes). Females must wear full shirt over gym bras.
2. No outside personal trainers are allowed.
3. No groups of more than two people working out
on machines.
4. Weights must be re-racked after use.
5. No abusive language, swearing or pushing will
be tolerated.
6. No glass bottles or food allowed in fitness
area. Covered plastic drink containers are acceptable.
7. It is expected that all people exercising in
the fitness area will follow accepted guidelines for safe exercise
practice, including but not limited to: use of a spotter when
needed, proper and safe use of equipment, including acceptable
speeds on machines and no horseplay.
8. No basketballs or volleyballs, etc. allowed
in fitness center.
9. No one under 15 years of age is allowed in
fitness area. (Exception, special programs and classes.)
10. Individuals not choosing to follow these rules
are subject to disciplinary action according to the severity
of the violation.
11. Please limit time on cardiovascular equipment
to 30 minutes when other are waiting. Allow others to work in
on strength equipment.
12. Do not attempt to use a piece of equipment
marked "Do Not Use". This endangers your safety as
well as others.
13. After a 5-minute warm-up stretch out your
muscles before using the climbing wall or any of the fitness
equipment.
