Activities take place at the Dearborn Senior Center
unless otherwise noted. Activities are constantly added to our
calendar so check back regulary or join our mailing list. All
programs require advance registration.
Several one-day trips are offered each month for Dearborn seniors
ages 50 and above. The trips. which are escorted and originate
from the Henry Ford Centennial Library Parking Lot, include
theatrical events, casinos, sightseeing and boat rides. Transportation
is by modern air-conditioned motor coach to destinations less
than 150 miles from home.
Seniors need not have a travel partner to participate
in the One Day Travel program. Information listed here is available
at the Dearborn Senior Center in the Ford Community and Performing
Arts Center.
A variety of cross-country trips are available for Dearborn
retirees. Information sheets, detailing these trips are available
at the Dearborn Senior Center, located in the Center.
Videos and slides of upcoming trips are shown
at the monthly meetings of the Dearborn Travel Club, which takes
place the second Thursday of the month at the Henry Ford Centennial
Library Auditorium beginning at 7 pm. The Dearborn Travel Club
is open to residents ages 50 and above.

Senior Citizen
Bus Services Do you need transportation to the doctor,
shopping center, hairdresser or Dearborn Senior Center? Our
Dearborn Senior Bus Service will take you anywhere in Dearborn,
providing you're a Dearborn resident aged 60 or over, for
just $1. (Another $1 for the return trip.)
To schedule a ride, call 943-4083 anytime weekdays from 8:30am
- 2 pm. Reservations must be made at least five days in advance.
Our service is from curb
to curb. Caregivers traveling with our customers also pay
a $1 fee.
Medical appointments have priority in our scheduling procedure.
Our Senior Citizen Bus Service does not pick up or deliver
medication, nor does it provide transportation for medical
