Several one-day trips are offered each month to Dearborn seniors
(age 50 and over). Destinations and activities are varied and
range from sightseeing, theatrical events, casinos, boat trips
and more. The cost usually includes one meal. All one-day trips
are escorted and originate from the Henry Ford Centennial Library
Parking Lot. Travel is aboard a modern air-conditioned highway
motor coach to destinations less than 150 miles from home.
A senior need not have a travel partner to participate in the
program. Preference is given to Dearborn residents, Pleasant
Hours Club and Travel Club Members for a week; then guests may
register. Registration flyers describing the trips are available
at our offices in the FORD COMMUNITY AND PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
and from Pleasant Hours and Travel Club leaders. For further
information, contact Diane Atkins - 943-2319.
